adoptaBull had another great year celebrating several milestones with the Cantigny Foundation this year. We kicked off the weekend with a celebration of Robert McCormick's birthday on Thursday. We were proud to be invited to this special event along with our friends from Save-A Vet for this annual celebration in honor of Robert McCormick.
Saturday was our third year of participating in Cantigny's Dog Days - one of our favorite events of the year! Perfect weather. This year as a very special 60 year anniversary milestone for the Cantigny Complex in Wheaton and we were excited to be there to celebrate with them. This is an event all dog lovers want to put on their calendar every year.

This beautiful girl began her journey to a new forever home on July 4th 2014. While everyone celebrated the holiday weekend, volunteers from multiple organizations worked to make the rescue dream happen for Sophie.
Surrendered to a local municipal shelter because the family was moving, Sophie showed the classic signs of neglect. Pilots N' Paws pilots Mark & Karen Bradley stepped up on July 4th for her air transport to adoptaBull and the fireworks started!
